TOYOTA Drag Strip at Irwindale will host a 6 Race Series with all races counting toward the Championship; points will be awarded as outlined in the NHRA Rulebook.

DRAG STRIP SCHEDULE UPDATE
TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale officials announced changes to its drag strip competition schedule effective immediately.
The NHRA Summit Street Legal Drag Racing event originally scheduled for Sunday July 13, 2008 has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 20. This schedule change was made to accommodate other scheduled drag racing activities taking place in Southern California on the 13th.
There is no Test and Tune event scheduled for Thursday, July 3. This is to allow track personnel to prepare the facility for the California Highway Patrol 200 NASCAR event and fireworks show scheduled for Friday, July 4. All other dates remain as is.
The classes will be the same classes run at the Summit Series Finals in 2008:

Team Fees:
• As of January 1, 2008 all participants will be required to pay their full entry fees to the Summit Series Finals at Top Gun Raceway in Fallon, Nevada.
Entry Fees:
• $55.00 for all Summit Series classes. Purse structure will be prorated bases on number of entries in each class. Time only entries are available at the cost of $20.00. Spectators are $10.00 each.
