Joe Herold of Poway took the lead on the 4th lap and went on to win the King Taco Super Trucks 40 lap feature race Saturday night (July 19) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Herold’s second of the season and beat second place finisher Conner Cantrell to the finish line by 0.392 seconds. Cantrell took over second place from Mason Britton of Sacramento on the last lap in turn 3. Cantrell’s runner-up finish marked the sixth time this season he finished in the top two. Britton finished the race in third place while division leader Pat Mintey Jr. of Quartz Hill finished 4th.
